Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Contract Administrator provides administrative support to PathGroup contracting units.  Primary responsibility is to the EVP Chief Administration and Information Technology Officer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop contracts/amendments/notifications in support of various contract types.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendor and customer contracting personnel to facilitate initial contract implementation, resolve issues and monitor and improve process.
  • Assist business operations in adherence to contract terms, mutual expectations and educating the company’s key personnel about contract terms and expectations.
  • Assist in internally communicating new contracts, rates, services covered for various lines of business.
  • Work closely with other departments in the support/development of new/existing vendor and answering customer questions and concerns.
  • Assist in the development of a strategic contracting approach.
  • Monitor compliance of contracts with health care regulations and law.
  • Responsible for coordinating meetings with various departments for contract reviews.
  • Prepare business documents, agendas, and other necessary items for meetings and presentations.
  • Organize and maintain files and records associated with contracts and assist in the development of systems for automation of contract processing.
  • Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the industry’s best security practices and regulatory guidelines to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information and other sensitive company data.
  • Must be familiar with and abide by the Corporate Compliance Program and all corporate policies, including the Privacy and Security policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION & LICENSURE:

  • Associate’s degree or higher level of education preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Two to four years of prior job-related experience is required.
  • Experience as paralegal or contract administrator for healthcare company desirable.
